Did my wash today and in the inner pocket of my coat, I carry 2 of the most precious documents that created this great country. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America.
While I was waiting on the wash, I reread the Declaration of Independence again and from the first sentence a light bulb went off above me and got brighter and brighter as I read. I came to the realization that Obama and the rest of Washington DC has become the 2015 King George III with all the rotten policies, end runs on congress and race baiting.
This forces me to ask the question about the upcoming election. If we elect an outsider will they be able to muster the backing they need to try to change course and fix things or if we elect an establishment man, will they change anything at all. We know they won’t on the Democratic side.
Like I read in the Declaration, “That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness”.
It’s all laid out in the Declaration. Maybe, given what we have coming up on the Democratic side and the damage that has been done to the country, maybe we need to take our fore fathers learned advice and throw off the government that we have and start over and keep the government within the constraints of the Constitution.
I know if I had the job of president, I would start with a 10th Amendment Society and give back to the states what is the states and what is the feds give to the feds along with the Fair Tax, Rebuilding the Military and securing both the Northern and Southern Borders. We need to make some serious moves here in the next year. I don’t think we have a year for this country to survive.
